On November of 2018, more or less 400 students from 10 private and public schools in Taytay took part of the TAPRISA Sports and Academic Competition.

The aforesaid interschool competition was held in different private schools in Taytay and lasted for almost a week. Harris Memorial College hosted the Junior Basket Tournament at HMC gymnasium – all the school staffs, faculty members and students parceled out their full support for their athletes and other representatives at the said event.

During the finals, junior high school representatives landed their rightful places for the 2018 TAPRISA Sports and Academic competition..

Roosevelt James Griba of Grade 8 placed 2nd at the Chess boys JHS category. Micah Hilario of Grade 10 and Danica Rose Anaez of Grade 7 primary placed 3rd at the Chess girls JHS Category.

HMC Junior High School Students  placed 3rd at the Literary and Musical Contest Speech Choir.

Junior high school students Nellysza Carteciano, Francis Edward Libre, Dywane Quianzon, Johan Manio  placed 3rd at the Mathematics Academic Competition.

Everyone is extremely proud of all the efforts and sheer determination of the coaches and the athletes. Kudos to the dedicated coaches and to all the talented athletes who gave their best to bring recognition to HMC.
